Comparing the Evolutionary Perspective with the Cultural Perspective
The Nature vs. Nurture debate seems to be at the heart of modern-day psychology, but it’s also inadequate and incomplete. It’s missing an essential ingredient – the Human Psyche.

Question:
Review the findings on gender differences. Which findings support the evolutionary perspective and which support the cultural perspective?
Answer:
Nothing supports an evolutionary perspective; but, everything supports a genetic perspective. We don’t have a common evolutionary history, but we do have a common genetic history.
Critics nevertheless contend that the empirical evidence is not strongly supportive of evolutionary psychology’s predictions.
You may recognize both the evolutionary and functionalist approaches as examples of hindsight reasoning. Evolutionary explanations [are] again based on hindsight.
Our common evolutionary heritage does not, by itself, predict the enormous cultural variation in human marriage patterns. Nor does it explain cultural changes in behavior patterns over mere decades of time. (Social Psychology, pp. 178-179.)
The Theory of Evolution is correlational, not observational. It is based upon confirmation bias and hindsight reasoning, and not empirical evidence. The evolutionary perspective lacks explanatory power and predictive power. There is no such thing as an evolutionary history or an evolutionary heritage.
Remember, an evolutionary history is prevented from happening by entropy or random mutations. This just might be one of my most interesting and intriguing scientific discoveries of all time. The mechanism that produces genetic change – random mutations or entropy – is the very same mechanism that prevents the theory of evolution from being true. Evolution or random mutation is entropy. Entropy cannot design and create anything. Entropy or random mutations prevent the theory of evolution from becoming true. Fascinating, is it not? That’s what happens when you allow ALL of the evidence into evidence and choose to pursue a preponderance of the evidence.
The theory of evolution isn’t real, and it didn’t happen. In contrast, the genes are REAL – they have been experienced and observed in real life by real people. It should be called a genetic perspective and not an evolutionary perspective. Your genome is God’s Signature, and it is written on every cell within your physical body.
The theory of evolution has been falsified. Natural selection doesn’t touch our genes. Random mutations are a change in our genes; but, random mutations are entropy, and we scientists KNOW that entropy cannot design and create anything. It’s physically impossible. The Chemical Evolution of proteins and genes from atoms didn’t happen because it’s physically impossible. Chemical Evolution, Spontaneous Generation, Abiogenesis, and Macro-Evolution are prevented from happening by entropy or the second law of thermodynamics. That’s the real science behind the evolutionary perspective. An evolutionary perspective is science fiction.
Order and organization is a function and product of Syntropy, not entropy. Ask yourself what’s capable of producing Syntropy, and suddenly you will discover how everything works.
Heritability estimates tend to register around 50% for just about everything, which means that 50% of our BioPsychoSocial Matrix is genetic in nature and origin. Consequently, the other 50% is comprised of social pressure, cultural training, and the Human Psyche’s personal preferences. The Human Psyche is the arbiter. The Human Psyche can trump its nature and nurture at will.
The genetic perspective is real and truly exists. We know because it has been experienced and observed. In contrast, the design and creation of genes, proteins, and life forms by the different types of evolution has NEVER been experienced nor observed in the wild nor in the lab. The Theory of Evolution is science fiction. It never happened, because entropy prevents it from happening. Random mutations prevent the theory of evolution from becoming true.
So, what are some of the genetic and developmental differences between men and women?
Women have 70% more fat, 40% less muscle, 5 inches shorter, and weighs 40 pounds less. Women are more sensitive to sounds and smells. Women are doubly vulnerable to anxiety disorders and depression.
Men are slower to enter puberty by two years and quicker to die by four years. Men are three times more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD, four times more likely to commit suicide, and five times more likely to be killed by lightning. Men are more capable of wiggling the ears. (Social Psychology, p. 169.)
Most of the physical and developmental differences between men and women can be traced to genetics. The genetic perspective is real and has been experienced and observed.
Social pressure from those other psyches to conform and obey supports the cultural perspective. Cultural changes in marriage patterns and behavior patterns within mere decades support a cultural perspective.
Technically, since Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, Atheism, and the Theory of Evolution have been falsified by scientific observations and empirical evidence, nothing supports an evolutionary perspective.
There’s nothing in our genes forcing us to conform to and obey the demands from the other psyches within our society. Genes help to determine our physical attributes and capabilities, but the genes can’t touch the Human Psyche. That’s the lesson that we learn from the heritability estimates and the genetic trends. The choice to conform or to rebel is done by the Human Psyche, and NOT the other people within a society, and definitely not by the genes. The genes don’t care one way or the other. They can’t. Society, those other psyches, wants you to conform and obey. So, where is all of that rebellion coming from?
Rebellion or reactance against societal norms, social pressures, and societal expectations is purely a function and product of the individual Human Psyche. Rebellion or reactance is Proof of Psyche. There’s nothing in our genes making us rebel, nor making us conform; and, our society or environment definitely does not want us to rebel against them and fight against them. The BioPsychoSocial Model ends up being true after all. The Human Psyche or a psyche perspective ends up producing a ton of explanatory power for us, after we finally choose to allow ALL of the evidence into evidence.
Remember, Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, and their derivatives have been FALSIFIED by a complete lack of observational evidence supporting their major premises or hidden assumptions which state that the quantum, or the non-local, or the non-physical, or the transdimensional, or the supernatural does not exist.
The proven and verified existence of Quantum Mechanics, Supernatural Mechanics, or Transdimensional Physics FALSIFIES Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, and their derivatives. The very existence of invisible non-physical forces and fields like gravity, magnetism, dark energy, the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, quantum waves, and psyche FALSIFIES Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, and their derivatives.
Thoughts and memories are quantum waves. We know this is true, because our thoughts and memories survive the death of our physical brain according to the empirical evidence from Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), Out-of-Body Experiences (OBEs), Shared-Death Experiences (SDEs), and our after-death Life Reviews. If a thought or memory survives the death of your physical brain, then it’s truly a memory in every sense of the word. Is it not?
The proven existence of dark matter or spirit matter FALSIFIES Materialism and Naturalism. In other words, Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, Atheism, Determinism, Physical Reductionism, Behaviorism, and Scientism are FALSIFIED by observational evidence, experiential evidence, empirical evidence, and scientific evidence. ALL of the evidence that we have as a race FALSIFIES Materialism, Naturalism, and the Theory of Evolution.
In contrast, there is no evidence and will never be any evidence that supports an Evolutionary Perspective, Materialism, Naturalism, Nihilism, Atheism, and the Theory of Evolution. It’s physically impossible to provide that type of evidence. You can’t prove that something like the quantum or the supernatural or the non-physical does not exist, especially when ALL of the observational evidence says that it does.
